Quick heads up notice for my readers. City of Sunny Isles Beach has something going on every week. This weekend Saturday October 14 2017 from 10 AM to 3 PM city is hosting a classic car show at the Heritage Park. This is a FREE event to everyone interested in attending. Bring you family and friends vote for you favorite car. Winners will split $500 in cash prices. Also a special performance by a local Viva Classic Rock Band during the event. Event is going to be at the Park at 19200 Collins Ave Sunny Isles Beach 33160. Parking is available next door for FREE at the garage and under the Causeway. Heritage Park is easy to get to by William Lehman Causeway from Aventura. From Bal Harbour just stay on A1A North and if you are coming from Hallandale go South on A1A. Park is hard to miss just look for the new Regalia high rise, its a building that looks as if it is twisted and the park is just about across the street. Or look for Ramada as another landmark. Plenty of security will be at the event and police will be on site directing traffic, so if you get lost just ask one of our finest. Or take our free shuttle. The SIB shuttle bus provides FREE transportation, within city limits, or FREE event parking is available in the Heritage Park Parking Garage and under the William Lehman Causeway.

A site that once was a busy location of a chain restaurant Denny’s located at 17555 Collins Ave Sunny Isles no longer resembles anything that it once was. As of this writing bulldozers are loading the last remaining pieces of what once was a popular restaurant in Sunny Isles. Nearly a 1 acre lot the property was purchased by the Verzasca Group for it new construction Aurora Sunny Isles condo complex.

A planned development will have 76 luxury units condo complex located on top of a 3 story elevated parking with close to 8000 square feet of commercial space on the first floor ground level. I Would Like More INFO on This Building Also kind of dated and not as popular as it once was Denny’s was not as busy as it used to be in the last few years of its existence.
