What it is like to live in Sunny Isles FL

Living in Sunny Isles Beach Florida is a GREAT option for people looking for some of the best beachfront condos and waterfront homes in Miami. Now, not every condo building or home is located on the beachfront or waterfront, but there are plenty that are.

The city of Sunny Isles ( https://www.sibfl.net/ ) is less than 2 miles long from north to south end. It starts around 192nd street and runs to about 158th. It is also a barrier island. So, on the east side you have the ocean, and to the west is Intracoastal.

There are 2 ways to get of the island and that is 163 draw bridge, and 192 street which is also a bridge but it is high enough to allow large boats to go under it. Yes, there are other way if you go further north or south, but these are the fastest 2 ways.

To the south of Sunny Isles beach is Haulover Beach (with part of the beach is clothing optional) and Marina and BalSunny Isles Real Estate Harbour. Haulover is the closest waterway outlet to get to the ocean from the Intracoastal.

This makes Sunny Isles and nearby cities like Eastern Shores, Aventura, North Miami Beach, Golden Beach, Surfside and even Hallandale Beach popular with boat owners.

At Haulover and Bal Harbour there is a sandbar just in front of the Oleta State Park. Which, by the way is a great place to go to for a day. You can rent water equipment there. They have gazebos that you can rent for a party. Inground BBQ grills. And you can fish from the shore.

To the north is a Village of Golden Beach. Strictly Single-family homes. Both on the beach and intracoastal. Some famous names have called Golden Beach their home over the years. North of it is Hallandale Beach.

Is Sunny Isles Beach a Good Place to Live?

With a population of roughly 22,000 Sunny Isles beach is one of the best places to live in Miami. City offers a dense urban feel, with few options available for buyers looking for a bit of space in a single-family home. A lot of properties are second or third homes, and some of the residents are renters. Some are seasonal and other year-round residents. https://www.niche.com/places-to-live/sunny-isles-beach-miami-dade-fl/
